Lord Of The Greens Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 Ahhh soo annnoying. Well Here is the story. I wake up one morning to play Subby and I click 17th as usuall and guess what happens next? The dam thing freezes my comp totally. I have to reset my computer. Why has this started happening?. I have formatted the comp and re-installed XP Pro, and it is still happening. Anyone know what is going on here?
»Maverick Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 driver problem I think. Update video drivers and directx to latest version. Then try again. Give some more information about your configuration if it still doesn't work.
Lord Of The Greens Posted May 3, 2005 Author Report Posted May 3, 2005 Just got it to work. turned off XP firewall and it worked, finally! Thanks for helping anyways
»Maverick Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 very odd that your firewall makes continuum crash Add continuum to the allowed application list of your firewall (or something similar) then it should be possible to keep your firewall on while playing. (Which I recommend)
candygirl Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 some games do freezes whan the xp firewall is on. The funny thing is none of the microsft games freeze. It will be ok if he has another firewall prog running other then xp's
