Football League

It's obviously one of the most popular events now so why not turn it into a league. The bot can be a little buggy but it's playable.

 

I thought we could have coaches (captains) for each team, who get to draft their players and pick one of the NFL teams as their name, I could make little banners for all the teams.

 

Then there could be a draft, but it'd really be like free agency, each player that's signed up could get a $$$ value and the coach would have to draft and keep under a salary cap. I can setup a site to track all of this (php/mysql prolly).

 

I do have a realistic football field laying around that was made a while ago for a SWR project, I can make some little players for it, and a cool football for the powerball. It'd look real nice for football league.

 

Whoever's a zone coordinator, let me know if this is something you're interested in, I could do most of it myself and then we'd just need some refs.

Creatix, football league is doable. You can easily create teams with BOT>Football (!modhelp) so doing a league is easily done aswell.

I know you fear bots, but they haven't done any harm (yet)

i guess we could have a vote next monday about wich sub league is wanted by players. however, i heard about tex running BPS... well pern says its no league so there would be space actually i think. lets wait for next jwl match however. if it'll run smoothly we can start thinking about new things.

Sounds cool, as long as Im not on Meks team. Somethin bout that event that lights a fire under his !@#$%^&*. Maybe its his passion for the game, i dont know.

Football League is very possible.

 

One thing is tho you gotta fix the bot a bit. Try talking to Hockey Zone about getting their newest bot, or talk to Nickisis directly.

 

He's been bustin his !@#$%^&* fixing the bot over there, and even put in a field goal plug-in for it.

 

Just uh, bribe him, or something.... I hear he likes gummi-bears
