No sounds

well since we are talking about help

umm my music is fine and everything...

intill i get into a zone i dont hear anything anymore like i use to...

and my speaker sets and speakers are fine as ice

plz help me!

Well, perhaps you've lost the "sound" directory?

if thats not the case,

 

Click Start / Run / type 'dxdiag' / Click the 'Sound' tab / Click 'Test DirecSound'

 

if there are any problems found, you know its directX. Also make sure you have the latest DirectX installed. (you can download it via http://update.microsoft.com)
