Delay after keypress

ok my keyboard works fine for typing and stuff, but in SS, i try to turn and it starts to turn, stops momentarily, and then continues turning , almost like when you hold down a key when you're typing.. and the first letter appears, then the delay, and then it begins to repeat the letter faster like aa(pause)aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Try a different keyboard (is yours wireless?)
