SeVeR Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 I don't watch TV either!! Wow this is like awesome, we being the same and all.. Although I do download some old rock concerts and films.. films like Scarface and the Godfather! Fking rules, Al Pacino was made for the screen.. and i download the odd crappy horror film i might have seen at far too young an age, oh memories! Ever seen The Blob? Its so funny now that whenever the guy gets pulled down the plughole i can't stop cracking up although when i was 6 i would be so terrified i'd have to leave the house and sit with my grandaddy.. aww. cloudy Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Budger or whatever, if you got banned by Mike then making pretty faces at pernille probably wont save you. MTN owns all. If he banned you, you really must have diserved it. Quote
Tex Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 I would like to see you host Dodgeball w/o a bot...Bracket...Football...Conquest...Takedown...Maur's KOTH... Hey, GOOD LUCK WITH THOSE!Macro city... -Tex Quote
StockholmSyndrome Posted April 17, 2005 Report Posted April 17, 2005 In theory, Bracket would be really easy to host without a bot. Also takedown would just need some quick macro skills lol Football with a set of macros, possible. >.> Quote
Cokey Flo Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 So would dodgeball.. Not hard to count to 3. Quote
Raem Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 If what I remember Conquest to be is accurate, then that's also very possible without bots... Enigma might be tough to host without a bot, unless there are 'groups' of doors which always open together, but if each door has to be opened individually, well..impossible..? Quote
»Maverick Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 In theory, Bracket would be really easy to host without a bot. Also takedown would just need some quick macro skills lolFootball with a set of macros, possible.Bracket, may be possible yes. However player 2 might still kill player 1 while player 2 has been long killed. So it would be tough and not very fun to play because the host is usually slower then a bot. (You want the host to know all of the 32 warp locations?)Takedown, the same more or less. But, if its hosted by an ER, he/she will surely be accused of being biased when putting people in. Football is impossible without bot. You need to do so much different things, not to mention the scoreboard. So would dodgeball.. Not hard to count to 3.Count to 3, pgdown to the player receiving the ball, speccing him twice while he has already launched the ball back at someone else... The host will surely be accused of being biased when it comes down to doubt if someone is out or not. If what I remember Conquest to be is accurate, then that's also very possible without bots... Enigma might be tough to host without a bot, unless there are 'groups' of doors which always open together, but if each door has to be opened individually, well..impossible..?Conquest is impossible to host, even with macros. A bot needs to do fast *setfreqs, a human host simply can't do that (fast).Enigma is impossible to host by a human host, also because enigma isn't only opening/closing doors. If you look exactly at what the bot does, its much more then that. Quote
deadonarrival Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Bots != bad, the staffers dont HAVE to use them, if they want they can do it manually, although of the current staffers i doubt if more then 2 ever hosted pre-bots Also a lot of events have no bot, speedball/speedflag, hostage, ms2, !@#$%^&*. There are maybe 10 possible bots, many are rarely used any more. But yeah i agree they are used too much, if the bots happen to go down sometime is it really going to be left to the few staffers that remain from a year ago to host everything? I'v never really liked them but they'r like the jav or delic, they arent ever gonna go away Quote
Raem Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 I thought the other things enigma bot does are just *objon *objoff...? but I'm not saying bots are bad...I like bots, they're more precise, just not always needed. Quote
BeWaRe Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 You have to edit a server file to open doors. Bots are used 'too much?' Who cares. They get the job done. Water is used too much. Quote
StockholmSyndrome Posted April 19, 2005 Report Posted April 19, 2005 You could run Bracket still quite easily without bot. In fact it's often done in Duel Tourns Depends how you manage it. I still tihnk it's extremly possible. Football is just as possible in my eyes, of course you might call the host biased but !@#$%^&* happens :/ How many times does Tex get accussed of !@#$%^&*ing an event up if it goes wrong because of the players (although he does muck up... lol)Also nothing hard about sorting things out score, time, etc. wise Need quick fingers for Dodgeball... and have a slight pre-emptive ability about yourself. Quote
X`terrania Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Quite easily? Duel tourneys can create alot of stress if the participants have no patience and love to whine. Quote
X`terrania Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Hahah.. yeah.. if staffers had their way they could easily say;P Staffer> please direct all questions to Bot>Public. Quote
Trip' Posted October 26, 2005 Report Posted October 26, 2005 Cya later ophie, have a good time wherever else. I dont really mind the corruption, aslong as its not botherin me and as long as its not some dum!@#$%^&* noob host that doesnt know how to even play the event he/shes hostin Only problem I got. Other than that, this games FUKIN great for free man. Quote
