Dr Brain Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Interesting idea, but it's not easy to implement because of the fact that L4 guns are only present on a ship either holding the powerball or holding flags. Freedom is the right to be wrong.

Kilo Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 I'm not certain of how much responsibility the client takes for the flag game, but I don't think it's much. This sounds possible, but it'd be kind of hackish.

Save for ASSS, the only way to achieve these weapons is with flags and powerballs. Anyway, what would be better is instead of making it level 4, just add a level, and instead of prizing you a gun prize, just have it add 1 to your weapon packet level for a certain period of time. That way you can fire a stronger gun for the same amount of energy. Of course, I'm not sure how efficient it will be to have a check for this powerup on everyone on every packet... This also would depend on the BulletDamageLevel and BulletDamageUpgrade settings.. the greater the latter is than the former, the worse of an idea this would be.
