game speed, bullet and bomb firing delay

Hi, buds.

 

I'm newbie in this game, and when I played it more and more I found

something unfamiliar to me, and I'm not sure it is just my feeling or what.

 

When I connected on subspace, game speed changes each tiime.

It just comes from my feeling but it's true on my screen.

when a few people play, my ship goes easier and faster, even it is too

faster than other time, so I cannot control that ship well.

But when many people come, the ship goes slower, even afterburner does not work, I guess.

 

I've heard it comes from hardware, not a software problem, but my computer is not that good, either not that bad for playing this game. (amd thunder 800, 256ram, geforce 2 mx)

And I've changed options to lower set.

Is it common problem or can I fix it?

 

Second, when I've watched some game, others play, their bullets fire more faster than mine. I noticed I can fire them fastest when pushing fire button and hold on. But some players fire bullets more faster than others. of course, me also. Is it a cheat? or I dont know how do I fire bullets faster?

 

Last weasel fires bombs with bullets(bomb goes first and bullets), but other ships can do such like that. Can I get informations about this?

Well, every ship is different and collecting greens upgrades your ship, so it can start bad and get better. Still, the same ship should never be slower with afterburners.

 

It is most likely that this just seems like this to you because the ship's conditions and upgrade status varies. What zone do you play in?

 

To make sure whether this is some sort of a computer malfunction, the help of a server sysop is needed. The *tinfo command will need to be used to determine your computer's timing and this can only be done by a sysop.

 

If you play in SSCX Alpha West SVS and happen to see Bargeld there, ask him, he can do it.

 

You can also join the online tech help chat channel and ask for someone to *tinfo you there. Ask for help there (not everyone there can help but some sysops occasionally chat there) or contact me in the channel if you see me in there.

But my ship was upgraded to max. I've checked it at every time I felt. And I play in Alpha west and Chaos. you know, SVS zone. And I saw '?chat=techhelp' command from here and I tried in Chaos zone but nothing happened.

Anyway, I'll try to ask Bargeld, I saw him sometimes in the zone.
