Lupper Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 hi whenever i turn on continuum, there's this big cloud that shows up and it says "Continuum" Now i don't mind that, but sometimes i have my speakers blaring so sometimes I get scared of the noise it makes (thunder) Is there any way I can change it into sounds from like a barn animal or something?
»SOS Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Unfortunately, that's not a supported feature yet.
Dav Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 move to devolpment? it makes a nice suggestion.
Jericho24. Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 in continuum settings disable the banner, then there is no noise
Dr Brain Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Uh, why not just replace the thunder sound?
»SOS Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Well that would be difficult since modifying the Continuum exes/dlls which store the sound... does not work well
»SOS Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Heheh, yeah... OK, fine... development it is... I'll make a loader for the game that'll play a farm animal sound. That should do it
Dr Brain Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 I thought the loading sound was in the sounds folder. I guess not.
PoLiX Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 I know you can change the image, but never heard of anyone changing the sound or knowing how.
»SOS Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 If someone attaches a farm animal sound, I'll make it play
Raem Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 What file size/length limitations are there, if any?
»SOS Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 No size limits. Wav will surely be playable, not sure about others - haven't tried it before.
