»SOS Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Low FPS basically means that your graphics card draws the game too slow - in some extreme cases the game might kick you for that, although I have never seen it happen yet. What zone are you trying to enter?Does this happen in all zones? You can show the FPS counter by pressing F when the ESC menu is on the screen. It's a little red number to the left of the energy bar. PoLiX Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Well, Halo CTF would be because of the graphics card unable to handle all the graphics, but WZ has low graphics, so not sure there. Try This: Goto View > Advanced Options and then check Avoid Page Flipping, No Framerate Limit, and Disable Clipping. Let me know if this helps any. Quote
DaKillaRoach Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 naedhaha constantly moans to me in school his FPS is !@#$%^&*ed up. From what i've seen it's too HIGH! When playing on his comp it seems to -jump- slightly. Probably his graphics card yet he plays CounterStrike fine. Can a FPS be too high? Quote
Bargeld Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 Can a FPS be too high?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hence the 'no framerate limit' option. Quote
