Sass Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 X, there is something about the voting process you should know. I spoke to Polix to try to understand how I missed the vote on general when I was leading, and how I narrowly got it with a tie on political. Polix made two major errors in the voting process: First, the original end of the vote was written down as being Noon Tuesday. He changed it and made it Monday when it suited him best. Second, Polix let me know that he spammed the ss chats that he subscribes to. Since I do not subscribe to any of them those mods who subscribe to them did the best because they were known. You lost X because things were changed which benefitted specific people. Polix may not have desired it to be that way, but that is what happened. This is why I chose to step down: Polix didn't analyze the situation well. I can't work in that capacity.
»SOS Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 This makes me curious... what's so important about the time the vote ended?
SVS Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 AND this is why I didn't want to put this to a vote. People need to realize it didn't have to be done this way, it could of been one of us just deciding which moderators we wanted period. Stop complaining and just wait until next time.. the more you complain the less likely there *will* be a next time.
PoLiX Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 I moved it up 9hrs due to the fact I wouldn't be around to close the Polls. It was not Noon Tuesday, learn how to read time. 12am is called MIDNIGHT. It was to close at 12:00am on Tuesday. I closed it at 3pm so that i'd actually be around to close them and all. Yes, I spammed it on all my chats that 1hr was left. I have 5 chats, amazing. An old EG Vet Chat, 17th Staff Chat, Bot Chat, SS Dev Chat, and SSForum chat. They then passed it on as I asked, so people knew the vote was coming to an end. Dav was over X from the time I woke up, til the closing, although X' closed in at the end. The reason he's !@#$%^&*ing is because we decided to change the forum layout, and we took the Top 2 General, as was original, and the Winner of The Lounge, and make them mods over the new 'The Lounge'. I'll publicly say that i'm glad that X' has lost out now seeing how immature he acts. S!@#$%^&*, You won the 1st round with 10, but lost this round with 8. People changed their minds, and people who voted for one of the other 11 candidates, changed their vote to someone else. That's just how voting goes.
Sass Posted February 8, 2005 Author Report Posted February 8, 2005 It's your boards man....you do whatever works. idk
Lupper Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 I'll publicly say that i'm glad that X' has lost out now seeing how immature he acts.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>ya know im pretty sure that "X" is a LOT more mature in real life and doesn't give a flying !@#$%^&* about these forums.. I think "X" entered it for the sake of wanting to spam and abuse powers.
»SD>Big Posted February 9, 2005 Report Posted February 9, 2005 ...who the !@#$%^&* is "X"?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> x'terrania or whatever

How do you know that any mods subscribed to those chats. And even if those mods subscribed to those chats, how do you know that they were on at that specific time? Conjecture. Again, if PoLiX had left the time the way it was, who would have voted more for this "X" fella or for you? Another conjecture on your part. Stop making accusations for which you have no proof.
Lupper Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 shut up. i don't need your help to declare my awesomeness. My presence here speaks for itself.
