Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 The dl where I downloaded it says that it's capable of handling a number of things such as ctf, elim, zombies, I could go on. after setting it up with the readme, I came to wonder a number of things. 1: I want a bounty bot.. nothing more that just makes a bounty rabbit, and sends killing spree style messages 2: will my supposed bounty bot try to offer zombie, elim, whatever games inside my public arena? (that would be disasterous) and:3: It didn't mention plugins short of that one txt file I had to edit (which contained the bots name, the password, the plugins, and a couple other things), and I can't find any plugins for the bot from the place I downloaded it (catid's page). are there plugins that came with the bot that aren't mentioned? or are they like most plugins, and add-ons you get from the net.. sorry for the newbie like questions but I'm really buys and in a hurry and have my finals coming soon.. thanks in advance.

You have to download and add them through spawns.txt exactly thanks, that's what I was getting at.. my merv came with NO plugins, yet the dl link says it could handle elims, duels, races, whatever, and it DID NOT say you needed plugins for that.. so I thought those features were built in, and since my plugins in spawn.txt was blank, I was wondering "would It try hosting a race in the public arena or something?" but now I know, that it couldn't do anything it said it could, only WITH plugins to dl it can >=).. now I see why it's soo easy.. just a misleading description that came with the download link, that's all.
