As everyone has noticed public has looked different for some days now.

So now it is time for one of the big questions, is the map change good or bad? more or less fun?

I know many see us as a bounch of idiots that don't listen or care. We try as hard as we can to improve and do as most want, and most dosent mean thoes who speak loudest but in general.

Regardless of what you might think of the map i hope you atleast tried it out and had just abit of fun.

I won't say it is a 'bad' map... because I don't think it is... But I prefered the west/east map we had before.

 

Left-Right layout is, I think, easier to play in and more fun to learn... It's more instinctive to go from left to right than to move up and down. The screen resolution being larger in width than in height, makes a more 'confortable' gameplay that way too...

That's my theory about west/east vs north/south gameplay...

Also, some say that North/South is more appropriate, due to the Viet-Nam war theme, involving North and South. But we can easily suppose that our point of view is not aligned with the geography you find on maps.. I mean that the North could be to our left, and south to our right... 'Up' isn't always synonym of 'North' ... anyways...

 

Anyways... I'd be curious to see the same map with a west/east layout... I think I'd still prefer the old one, but it could be something to try out...

please, change it back... your late method of changing things daily are tearing us apart! change things slower, let us adapt and complain about one thing at a time.

Same opinion like Sama.

I totally prefer east/west.

 

And I like the jokermap, too. It's bases have elements of the old and seem pretty fun to me. Maybe we should try out this map for about a week?

Yesterday more ppl were playin in there then in pub. If you don't trust me, I made a screenshot.

If the bases were brought much closer to the middle and the middle was reduced to half its size then some people might be bothered to enter the bases. As it stands the previous map was better but its still a long way off what it could be. I think 17thnew3 should be in pub.

As people have stated before, East/West gameplay is more natural and comfortable than North/South. The center is a little large, and teh bases are a bit big as well. Maybe it's just me but it seems like pub got super-sized... Would you like fries with that?

and based on the results, maybe use that map for a week, then have a vote saying keep or not?
