Nosey Posted January 19, 2005 Report Posted January 19, 2005 I just bought a new computer which i pieced together. I installed continuum on it and instead of the continuum logo coming up and lightning sound all i get is 100% CPU usage... i cant do much else, so i ctrl alt delete and try to end the process. the continuum process jumps all over the process list.. if you manage to click on it and try to end, it wont because its already in another spot. when i go to shut down the computer a box comes up that says something about not being able to shut down continuum and something about a .dll, its too fast for me to see... can anyone help? Bargeld Posted January 20, 2005 Report Posted January 20, 2005 the dll thing is saying something along the lines of: ______.dll could not initialize because windows is shutting down. This is normal... any program that attempts to load after you have told the pc to shut down will do this. Here is your solution:http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?showtopic...l=visual+themes Quote
Nosey Posted January 20, 2005 Author Report Posted January 20, 2005 as much as id like to say that worked, it didnt edit: ive been readin previous threads about this problem, seems like it stumps almost everyone... ill just keep trying different things Quote
