Seeing double.

When in game, I get double postings of everything.

 

Ex: Smalls(2) killed by lkajdldk(4)

Smalls(2) killed by lkajdldk(4)

 

Always given to me twice, along with players' posting.

 

Ex: Smalls>lkjdalk

Smalls>lkjdalk

 

This has happened before, but it was the day before buying a new comp, so I have no idea what to do to resolve it. Help needed.

I thought perhaps I should add this as well. This happened to me during the same time as the double's came up last time.

in the options there is an avoid page flipping option, make sure it is checked and see what happens. If that doesnt work post again.

no good. still doubles. i dont think its ss, because the same happens in winmx. - it finds the same server twice - my dsl (sbc) was down for about 4 days due to aep trucks trying to fix something. hopefully they will solve it for me

its a strange problem, seems i dont know why you would be recieving data twice. bug prehaps?

not a bug.

negative S2C means that packets from server to client (S2C) arrive but packets from client to server (C2S) doesn't arrive at the server: the server will send packets again. Thats why you get everything double.

It's not a SS problem, more an ISP problem.

That happened to me once, if you have a p2p client like Kazaa, Limewire, or Morpheus, it doesn't work well with continuum. If I had it installed, and went into continuum, the graphics would be all messed up. I would see 2 lines of chat like you did, and the ships and walls would be all off-colored and junk. So I unistalled Morpheus, and no more problems.
