Yupa Posted November 12, 2004 Author Report Posted November 12, 2004 The time has come to REVOLT! We can do it! Presenting The Democratic Republic of America:http://unserious.com/democratic_republic_of_america-states.png Here's a flag, even:http://unserious.com/democratic_republic_of_america-flag.png With 18 stars & stripes for the 17 states plus Washington D.C. Hawaii is, of course, not included since it will be my own personal kingdom. I will naturally accept the office of President in the DRA despite my island monarchy.
Paine Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 why do most maps of the USA not include Alaska/Hawaii... you think your better than them?! huh!? Edit -- and I cried laughing at that !@#$%^&* the south, even if I aint from america
Yupa Posted November 13, 2004 Author Report Posted November 13, 2004 why do most maps of the USA not include Alaska/Hawaii... you think your better than them?! huh!?I just think to illustrate a _country_, you should have some perspective. This is a better way:http://unserious.com/democratic_republic_of_america-colored.pngtoo lazy to color those other ones
»nintendo64 Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 I feel offended, Akai, i really do...... You didn't color my country

Dr.Worthless Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 Oh my that is funny, (I'm from Arkansas..) Actually, you guys continue to laugh it up on the internet, we'll continue to laugh it up in the house, senate, supreme court, and presidency. I'll also comment how pathetic this thread is. That is all.
Yupa Posted November 14, 2004 Author Report Posted November 14, 2004 Oh my that is funny, (I'm from Arkansas..)No...THAT is funny! Ahahahahahahahah ...j/k Actually, you guys continue to laugh it up on the internet, we'll continue to laugh it up in the house, senate, supreme court, and presidency. We? Republicans? Laugh all you like, I sure would if those states secede from the country; All the states historically representing the best in thought, art, morals, etc _including_ the CAPITAL of the country. That'd be hilarious. The rest of the world would immediately drop the remaining original United States like a bad habit. It wouldn't take long for you to be Haiti to our Dominican Republic. Please, bring it on.
Tipme Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 you know whats REALLY HILARIOUS http://www.cafepress.com/sorryeverybody/ some of the shirts say made in USAlol WILL people be more happy that its not being made in a third world countryNOW THATS FUNNYFUNNYHILARIOUS
Yupa Posted November 14, 2004 Author Report Posted November 14, 2004 ya um...the country with the most fluent English-speakers is the USA, but ya I see your point
Dr.Worthless Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 roflmfao, Akai, only a 16 year old would actually talk about a CIVIL WAR starting because the person you wanted for president wasn't elected. Wait, and you're supposed to represent the "Smart" people from the "blue" states? Wow....
Yupa Posted November 14, 2004 Author Report Posted November 14, 2004 Um, that's how a lot of civil wars in history have started (unpopular official elected), but it's not like I'm offering it as a serious suggestion. It probably would be much improved a country over how the US is now, but I'm not serious about any such thing, it'd be a waste of effort most likely. I also didn't mention civil war at all. I said "secede". It only ends up civil war if the psychotic people the seceding people want to get away from (read: "Republicans" lol) go crazy and want to use their guns _and_ the people trying to get away from them bother to do something as re-*BAD WORD*-ed as engage themselves in a "war". Furthermore I didn't want Kerry specifically as President, but prefer him to Bush. I am not "a democrat" or "a replublican" - I'm for whoever is better. This election it was not Bush. I represent no one but myself atm and that's fine with me. You assume too much and seem bent on defensiveness...typical Republican.
PoLiX Posted November 14, 2004 Report Posted November 14, 2004 Most Long Time Southern Families are Democrats. If I remember right, even Robert E. Lee is a democrat. It's just over the past half century or so, Republicans have more and more tended to lean towards Christian Beliefs as their strong point, and the south is a strong religious area. I bet if an Athiest got the republican elect, and some super christian got the Democrat elect, then the south would go Democratic. Hate to get into some religious battle, but seeing as 90% of my family lives in Texas and other Southern states, and have repeated this in discussions time and time again, felt I just had to state it.
