And RCHP person, ff10 sucks You wasted money :/ Graphics wise, yeah its pretty nice, some of the cut scenes are beautiful but the rest of it is... yuck... its almost as bad as ff9 -.-' I don't expect ff12 to be good, I expect it to be the same pile of !@#$%^&*tles (hmm... taste the !@#$%^&*hole...) the several before it were. Graphics mean nothing in terms of an RPG. Anyone else seen the 'drop back' to the FF7 sub series? One is being released on the GBA I believe of Vincent and 'his story' while 2 other FF7 sub series games are coming out. Fun Fun! <_< (FF take over of this threaD) Quote

Graphics or not, IX had probably the best you'd see on a PSone, and that's not talking cut scenes. Though, the story lost me by the time you got to Terra... I have low expectations from FFXII as well, but I'm still going to buy it when it comes out. I mean really, what kind of charater is Vaan supposed to be anyways? And if you're a bit into history and like a good story RPG, I'm still suggesting SH:C, simply great it is, especially since I just beat it the other day How cool is it to beat up Rasputen, especially when he's got a soul pact with Asmodeus? - Z Quote

The Maurauder Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 Ill agree the storylines of the last 4 FFs released in the us were lacking, but its kinda hard to stack up against 7 isnt it? Anyways, the graphics in 9 were ahead of its time, and although it was a bit (understatement) odd when it came to the plot, i believed it was a good game overall. Yes, i somewhat agree that 8 through 10-2 (Barf) weren't terrific in every way, but they are still good games. As for 12, i have mixed feelings. It is rather lame that they are using the same setting as FF Tactics Advance, but at least the characters are different . The cinematic scenes and in-game graphics i have seen so far have been superior to anything out there. We will just have to wait and see. Quote

Unique so this next installment of shadowhearts is worth getting?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shadow Hearts II, sub-*BAD WORD*-led Covanent is worth getting in my opinion, it mixes timed button pressing with traditional RPG turn based attacking (ala Super Mario RPG). I'm looking to get the first one when I get my check next week. - Z P.S. And yeah, she does have that Rikku look going. Quote
