But their conclusions are all wrong, just look on the Internet and you'll find plenty of websites that discuss the same matter. Really, conspiracy theories are for idiots and this flash movie is pretty old. Ask someone who is a physics major before you believe any of the trash you see on some non-news website.

I've seen much much more convincing stuff than what was shown here, and I do believe that it was a missile, but that doesn't really change my opinion on anything.

First you must have a metal casing, not too hard to get, but lets remember that inorder for this missile to be accurate that the missile would need to be aero-dynamic. This takes a degree in physics, plus the metal work is also a very unique skill. Then the explosives, depending on if they just baught a bunch of plastic explosive or not, i think the quanities would be fairly large and difficult to gather. So lets say they made the explosive, this takes a degree in chemistry or they could have gone on the internet and looked up how to make explosives. So making the explosion is semi-doable if you are resourceful. Im !@#$%^&*uming that this missile was not self-propelled and dropped from a plane at a very low al!@#$%^&*ude. The skill required to drop a bomb at that trigectory is nothing short of amazing and completely impossable. That missile would need to be at a 90 degree angle with the ground, something that would require a targeting system. Thus the terrorist would need to be an electical engeneer and a programmer. To even get the explosion to happen they would need to have expertise in detinators. This is all !@#$%^&*uming that it was terrorists. If you are one of the consperacy theory -*BAD WORD*-s, then you probably believe that the US government would shoot a missile off and kill innocent people. I somehow disagree that you would be able to find a pilot and gunner who could keep quiet, plus everyonr that knew about the mission, not to mention the people planning this would need lack any form of humanity. Really, the movie was nice but you have to be a grade-A idiot to believe it.

There's still the problem of firing it at the angle it supposedly came in on, but it's a lot easier to believe they solved that problem than to believe they built it and fired it.

Terrorists can easily purchase any weapon they want off of the defunct Soviet Union. The problems they have is that the products are old and crappy. They would need to get some sort of artillary piece set up outside Washington, and get a 30 yr old missile past a state-of-the art missile defence system. Your point about nuclear power plants is correct. They are way too fortified for a terrorist to strike. A 747 couldn't come close to the reactor. Airbus is currently constructing a larger jumbo jet, but its extremely doubtfull (greater than 99%) that even it could cause a meltdown. That rumor was just made by people paranoid about nuclear anything. As for government seizing video tape, keep in mind that the Pentagon is still a military installation. Many world leaders, including our some of our allies, would pay high price for the secrets contained inside. Its unlikely that footage can be used against us, but maybe it can. They don't let people on the crash sites of stealth planes, yet this is not considered a conspiracy. If someone took a picture of a crashed F-117, officials would seize the film. Its unlikely anything important is on the picture, but we can't take that chance. However, 50% has a very big right to rant here. Look people, SEPTEMBER 11TH HAPPENED!!! It is not some right-wing conspiracy to get the populace to think their way. It also is not some event overblown by the right, the US populace have every right to be pissed at Islamic Fundimentalists. Sept 11 is the biggest attack the US has suffered from a foreign source since 1812. I mean, the at!@#$%^&*ude from you leftist extremists sicken me. How many terrorists attacks must the world suffer before you admit that we are being attacked by terrorists?

That being said, for some reason the Pentagon would rather have people believe that it was just another airliner rather than the bunker busting missle that it was. They probably have a very good reason for it. September 11th happened. And even if it hadn't, all of the reasons that sent us overseas would still hold true, 9/11 or no. 50%, never under estimate the enemy. Unless the koran has a Hijacking for Dummies section in it, they aren't as technicly backwater as you might believe.

Its more a case of who you are more willing to believe but the overall distrust in the US government probably causes alot more of these theories to be produced.

Having luck and splitting up the peaces, wouldn't be to hard to sneak in the materials for a bomb or anything of that sort. And putting it together, Westerners aren't the only educated people in the world.

But it usually occupies all your time being a terrorist -*BAD WORD*-: not too much other time for a quality education in missile making. To be an extremest in any religion it requires a lot of work. Many muslims memorize large sections of the koran and unfortunatly muslims have become sinanmous with terrorism. I'm not saying that I have any racial or religious conflicts with muslims but it is a fact that all the crazy -*BAD WORD*-s seem to be originating from arab orgins. If arabs and/or muslims want to break the steriotyping then they need to have to put up a larger stand against terrorist actions. While im listing off crazy -*BAD WORD*-s i might as well add Isrealies, Cheachins, Frenchies, Palistinians and the Chinese: Im sure the list is endless.
