kentbrockman Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 this argument will never end, so can i get a straight answer. i know it says in the rules that you may bring the ball to safety to kill sitting ducks. people bring the ball into safety and just sit there and wait for people to come for the ball and then they kill them. ive seen it for a long time, and i am quite sure i remember even mike or nurples telling me it was allowed (may have been both even). i like to bring the ball to the south when it seems no one is balling on the other team. as a test to see if they actually will try and get it. my question is - is it only legal to kill ducks in safety, or is it legal to bring the ball there period? either allowed or not, ill accept. i just want to know if i am breaking a rule or if some staff members just dont know the rule.

You claimed you could bring it south in the rules, but the rules specifically state: Players may bring ball to south safety to kill the sitting ducks... at the time there was NO ONE in safety, and you were doing just to stall the soccer game, which is ILLEGAL. In the end the rule should be re-written, and if we want safewars so bad, do it like we used to do and put the safes by the goals, one on each side.

Proper ball usage: The only way the ball should be used is to either advance it to the goal that your frequency scores on or bring it to the safety to kill the sitting ducks. Bringing it elsewhere is illegal and will prompt action that follows illegal activities. So play fair, and keep the ball where it is supposed to be. This is all I have to say... READ THE RULES

So for the slow ones among us (looks at madhaha ): You may ONLY bring the ball to the south to eliminate people who are in the safe zone. Hogging the ball down there, bricking to keep it there, or other such distractions from the main game are illegal. Happy now?
