we could use the max team size increased to 15

 

up antideaths to 5 antideaths per ship for bloodlust sake blum.gif

 

and the prox should NOT BE TAKEN AWAY. it costs too much for that to be happening and its not THAT valable for its current settings

5k,Much? Eh,Score goals when 25 people are in game and then you should get around 5k easy.

max team size 15? umm too much unless theres like 50 people playing.

antideath? no comment

personally I dont want prox to be taken away, I'd rather it cost 50k and last forever.

Currently as it is, a private freq's size should be no greater than just 6 or 7 people, and only with the highest populations. Like Kirby said, previously when it was 10, it was total chaos blum.gif . Public freqs are still unlimited in size though.

 

Increasing the antideath to like 5x would make it too easy to just sneak through into a base blum.gif

 

Prox's cost is very unbalanced right now. I don't think it should ever be permanent though, that would just be insanity blum.gif . Its cost should be based off of the ship's total power, since before, people using a maxed bomber could easily make back that $5K before losing prox, while poorer people in weaker ships usually couldn't, making it pretty much just the weapon of the rich people. I doubt this change will occur now, but with how the new item system will work, I think the problem of prox will be fixed smile.gif .

Technely(SP woo!) Hyperspace is a unfair zone,unbalanced zone.It be the truth. The more you play hyperspace,The better you get.

 

What I'm trying to say is that having people respawn death after death 5 times makes it harder for newbs to get to locations that are protected,bases and goals for example.

 

Normaly,If you haven't noticed,There is a low occasion of newbs on teams with vets and great players.Me, I invite anyone on who asks if I create a priv,to let newbs get the hang of basing and balling.Everyone has to start somewhere,right?

 

The main point is: 5 antideaths just cause newbs to have more trouble with basing and balling.

bugger repelant! a repel fires once every 5 seconds til your dead.

Bad idea. Think about invading a base with either side using it... you'd keep getting repped back, or the weapons fire would keep getting repped away.

As to the "bugger repelant," see the reps topic on this forum.

 

To solve some of the silly shield+bw silliness going around, I was thinking there could be a "brick pack" that gave you some number of bricks (probably 3) and couldn't be combined with other one-time power ups. Thus bricks could be used more for holding people back instead of just skill-lessly shielding through a team to hit all of the lancasters, a tactic which has ended too many flag games.

It's only stupid when combined with shields, because lancasters cannot effectively stop themselves from being brickwarped after they use their repels. Essentially, buying shields and bricks and being close enough to the enemy lancaster when you attached is a guaranteed brickwarp, which shouldn't be the case.

Hey that comes with the territory

The main reason that bricks cost money now is that they got extremely cheap (not that I a BrickWarp enthusiast cared) so you basic have to out brick a brickwarper.

Its really a simple concept too.

Have a smart enough and skilled enough front line to not get shreded through, have 2 lancs if possible so that if one goes the other could be used to return, have at least one of your teammates buy bricks themselves and use them to block or warp your opponent away.

One thing many vets have done that was intelligent is to always have the Lanc have a brick or two handy for this situation. Since, y'know, the Lanc isn't supposed to die, you shouldn't worry too much about losing the brick to a death. If you do, you don't have to worry about brickwarps, you're just toast in general :p

Jackpots have been good recently, but when they are won, people start to fade, and thus they take the ballers with them. Something to rectify this situation?

 

And also, backstabbing doesnt help the arena much eh Lanvalk *wink wink nudge nudge* seems like I got hit heavily earlier today (for you Americans, Yesterday) but you got relatively unscathed B) All part of the game though....all part of it...

 

Star_Wolf- I've been wondering the same thing. I miss the old dark sS forum colour and arcade..... dodgeball was fun =D
