Guest Felix Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Can you please help? I have played Subspace with my new computer about 2weeks(SSCU DeathStar Battle). When i start to play, my ping is pretty good (170-190). But when i have played about 10-20min all other players disappear and yellow warning text comes to my screen, "Warning! No data coming from server". Then i press quit and my ping is on red, but after about 5sec its normal 170-190 again?! I have played other online games and i never had problems like this... Can someone please help? My Computer: Pentium4 3Ghz1,00 gt RAM MemoryRadeon 9800 proWindows XP Quote
Samapico Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Happened to me when I had dial-up connection and that the phone was picked up... or that something causing interference with the phoneline (aka that weird lamp with colored static electricity lightnings things in) was placed near a phone... :S ... I'd check for anything causing unstable connection Quote
MasterDrake Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Make sure your firewall is allowing traffic in, could be your ISP most of the time it is if you have dial-up of dsl check the line to make sure there is no other electronic equipment operating ontop of it or close to it due to phone line not being shield like coaxial cable is. Try other zones could just be the path, something along the path screwed up etc. Quote
Guest Felix Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Exuse my stypidness, but where i can check my firawall optins? And i have Dsl connection... Quote
X`terrania Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Same, DSL is alright, no I lied, I just use it because it is friggin cheap!I had that problem yesterday, and your firewall options should be on your firewall, double click on it and look for either options of preferences! -X`terr Quote
Samapico Posted September 3, 2004 Report Posted September 3, 2004 If you do have a firewall that is... Quote
»Maverick Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Can't be the firewall else you won't be able to connect to a zone at all. Check for problems in your house like MasterDrake said -MMaverick Quote
