The green circles are the areas that must be captured. A freq must capture all the green circles to win a match.

The yellow circles are spawn points; when the game starts everyone is spawned in the yellow circles closest to center; everytime after game start players are spawned in their base.

Settings would stay the same, except weasels which will have to be increased in size a little so they wont fit thru 1 tiled holes.

The red dot is a bot that kills any intruders that try to enter enemy spawn area.

Any thoughts?

it looks like it'd be more suited for little army dude type graphics

which would be fine considering what the zone is supposed to be based on (and the gameplay this map would bring would also be closer to that)

Looks really nice and a good idea too.

There are a few things that may cause a problem (although i haven't played on it):

1. The central green area looks like it'd be very difficult to defend with the spawn points close by. Stopping a team from winning the game would be very easy.

2. The central part of the map looks very thin. Is there enough space here for large battles which would certainly take place here alot?

3. Beware concentrated spawn points, if the radius is not big enough you'll get spawnkilling, mine-repping and all sorts of random firing.

Anyway the map looks really hot.

Actually, the spawn points near center are used only at game start; after it's the spawn points at each extrimity that are used...

And yes I would enlarge central area too for a nice battlefield smile.gif

Sounds really cool but it sounds VERY similar to Desert Storm... especially when SuSE mentioned the army dude ships.... Desert storm similar (at least the map I was familiar with like a year ago):

1. Army Dude graphics

2. Stationary flags held in a narrow center between bases.

3. Bots in bases that automatically kill enemy.

Differences... you didnt mention any ball type game although Desert Storm had a flag you had to take to a goal area... Map somewhat different... Different settings of course, and this would have the multi spawn locations rather than just base spawn...

Sounds likea cool idea, its just that a VERY similar idea already exists

KOTH has jack and -*BAD WORD*- to do with flags, and because of that it's infinitally more flexable then anything you may have seen in SS smile.gif

(oh btw: it's only 1 circle at a time that is active hun...all of them would be much too much blum.gif )

DS bites and 17th has had claim to this style of play since forever.
