madhaha Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 There are already tiles you can shoot through but not p!@#$%^&* through. Please remember what 2D means....
»SOS Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 No there aren't... what crack are you on?
madhaha Posted September 6, 2003 Report Posted September 6, 2003 Oops, sorry, thats just how I use tiles. I use the ship over ones as fun ports and normal tiles to stop people flying through them.
Darkflare Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 the hole created by fly through tiles is not large enough to accomodate the width of a ship
mister manners Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 oh, just change shipradius to 22, and make a 2 tile gap, the ship wont go thru i think, mabe its a few more...
Mr Ekted Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Ship radius of 16 can't fit through 2 tile gap.
Dr Brain Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 It cant? I would have thought it could. Oh well, guess its all in the collision detection code. Oh, I love how its 'radius' and not 'diameter'
mister manners Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 yea, but adding the extra ones makes it so that you can make ship bigger, and not have ship overlapping tile
Mr Ekted Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 2 tiles = 32 pixels, radius of 16 makes the ship 16 + 1 + 16 = 33 pixels
Mr Ekted Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 A ship with 0 radius is a single pixel. Each pixel of radius extends it out 1 in all directions.
»SOS Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Yes, but why is a ship with 0 radius 1 pixel? 0 sounds like a better option. Hrm, I guess PriitK didn't want to mess with ships going through walls... sigh
divine.216 Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Because ships always have to have a location.
mister manners Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 well, i was in a zone, and i was in a wall, probably a 1:42369085 chance of spawning in a wall, what the -*BAD WORD*- was this?so i pressed a key, and i zoomed in that dirction of tiles, it was a wall, and i did so untill i got out, fun right? and i did make a .lvz calculator in 2 prog languages ^^ (dont i feel speciall?)
»SOS Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Because ships always have to have a location. Size has nothing to do with location...
divine.216 Posted September 14, 2003 Report Posted September 14, 2003 Nothing is nowhere... or everywhere.
