blackmoon Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 I got the Elim plugin from ssdownloads.net. It lets you choose alot of nice games, however... is there a way to configure it or do you have to get source code and reprogram it? I want to be able to make another map for zombies and conquer and another map for duel, race, dm, and teams. but w/o being able to configure the bot, you can run any of the games on any of my maps. This is what I want to do: Arena 1: Elim, Teams, Spiders, Race, DM Arena 2: Zombies, Conquer Can anyone help me? maybe having two bots that will just do the specific games for each arena??/
Yupa Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 MERVBotelim pluginplugin source easy to limit it to one game-type, if you want
blackmoon Posted July 29, 2004 Author Report Posted July 29, 2004 I am sure it is... however.... I took the source you posted (thanks for that) and commented out all the lines dealing with GAME_Ships, GAME_Zombies, and GAME_Conquer. It compiled ok, but the elim refuses to start. I doubt it was that easy to modify it, but I really am inexperienced. Here are my files:elim.rar
blackmoon Posted July 29, 2004 Author Report Posted July 29, 2004 I downloaded the Tutorial 2 do-*BAD WORD*-entation that comes with the elim source. I compiled it stock, not modifications and it doesnt work. So how can I get my edited one to work if I cant get the original one to work? Also, I tried to compile the source you posted, and it gives me errors about 'i' not being defined. I am using Visual Studio 6.0. I did notice the tutorial says to add commands.cpp and the file is named command.cpp. I tried renaming it to commands.cpp and it still didnt work.
