Today, after logging off, starting up the BBQ grill and coming back, I am getting the following error in all zones except "A small war zone". the error:You have tried to login using the wrong password too many times. Please try again in a few hours. Well, first I thought, maybe just try a new name. So, I made a new profile, new name, tried to login.... same deal. Hmmmm.... I have not changed anything in my profile, or in my backup profile, or my network, or my friewall. My connection is up, solid, and my servers are running great. I can pull up my web sites, listen to my Icecast stream, email server is receiving and delivering... in short, it's business as usual. So what's with this error message?Instinct tells me it is due to an authorization issue. ??? Quote

My daughter has lost her mind again (password included) when she played this afternoon on her system. Looks like it's time to make her Profile.dat file read only. So what's the point of contact for the admin of the server performing authentication? Quote

So what's the point of contact for the admin of the server performing authentication?the admins main concern is making sure zones are connected to the biller, the biller works and the servers work. They also deal with network wide bans when neccacary. The server will deal with the user and password side of things itself. After the lockout has ended you will be able to create a new name without any problems of being locked out and you can use that to ?lostp!@#$%^&*word to get the password you have lost. Quote

I was referring to being able to contact someone directly to get the lockout reset. As far as I know, user authentication is not something preformed by each zone, so there must be a central server which tracks accounts. If this is the case, that server would be owned/maintained by someone or would have an email account which is monitored. so my question is, does anyone have that contact information? Heck, even an IP to the server would suffice, I could do a DIG and get the contact info myself. Quote
