Lamage while safe

Recently saw gold watch killing The creeper while in safe by grabbing the ball, passing it to him and laming him, did that to me in my 1bty ship, passed it to me when i was clearly in safe and passed the ball to me, and killed me.

 

Bug, exploitation, whatever. Any ideas? Its just that if people found out about this and racked up the kills while the afk kept dying, anyone would get angry if no one did anything.

My understanding is that there is a setting to disable ball-killing-in-safe, but it either does not work or is not implemented because then people intentionally holding the ball would be safe. You don't want people holding the ball to grab on to safe like all of the other newbies do already, so you have to make them vulnerable. This comes at the cost of having people who don't spec when they go AFK vulnerable to laming as well.

 

On that note, just spec instead of sitting in the safe..

What you probably failed to realize is that ballkilling, what gold watch did, is illegal in this zone. That's listed in the F1 rules.

Second, if a person dies 5 times without firing a shot, then he/she automatically specs.

in my book, its ban warn fine. duh. but anyway, seems a lot of people want the person to get bant when i am sure they wouldnt want to get bant without getting warned first at least.
