I'll definitely be haunting the forums, and maybe I'll get a chance to like... download SS onto a school computer, but I'm not sure about that. I'm not going to download SS, and I'll check the forums/email/aim like... once a day. And it is school. It's all classes and lectures, with research projects- also gives you some credits for college. chocko_cc Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 in australia... here's the school plan... bascially this is from prep all the way up to yr 12..d unno if its the slightest bit the same compared to US people... school year starts bout end of january, term one, tis called. goes for about 10 weeks till about end of march/start of april, then we have a 2 week break. goes like that till term 4 finishes... depends on what year you're in when you finish. usually finishes round 20 december for each year, bout start of december for the later years, who just finished their VCE, you know, major exams and stuff. then we have a break till next year... -.- after yr12 its off to university, no "colleges" here. BTW, our summer is December to February (all the way to the end, if you don't know...) and we're currently in winter and it sucks, it rarely rains and it'll never snow here. Ever. I hate this username.

My sister took summer school once, and, if there's a class you think you won't be able to pass Take it in summer school. My sister, being the geek she is, spent her summer teaching the Geometry teacher Geometry. After a while, the teacher gave up, as he has many times in his life(which is how he landed the position), turned on the TV and they watched Montel and Ricky Lake for the rest of the summer. And it was good. It's summer again, this time my sister's going to summer school for College. Unfortunately, she calls it MayMester. All this work, and after several more years, she'll become a Math Teacher in High School! Where, she'll get to teach summer school!
