Yes you can die when you buy a thorstorm. So use a ship that carries good amount of energy

C: I think Thorstorm is an interesting idea. But, a jav with it is... how shall I say this... deadly. Quick bomb RoF + 255 huge thors from an outside sector = massive Slaughter, almost unbalanced. Plus, with 255 thors, how in the hejudas is someone supposed to get close enough to kill the bum?

D: KissMint is, strangely enough, getting on my nerves...

Indeed, there is no reason to use any ship except a jav (unless yours isn't maxed) for your thorstorm. Then again, if you can even afford a thorstorm, you probably have a maxed jav.

Idea! Make only 1 thorstorm possible at a time... THEN make thorstorm a bunch of autoturrets with thors to surround the sector ^_^

Thorstorms are evil because only people with a lot of money can afford them and, normally, those people are on the same team. Hence, whenever the opposing team gets a slight advantage, or even takes the base, a thorstorm is bought, and the slaughter begins .

 

I suggest either scrapping it, or severely lowering the number of thors bought from one thorstorm.

Just remember, every time they buy a thorstorm, they lose 100000 from the winnings of the JP.

And the simple solution to taking care of a thorstormer is to annihilate it. Thor him, rush him, go all-out with shields... it's cheap and sufficient. And they lose probably around 200thors.
