KissMint Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 On July 1st, 2004 at around 3:00pm, FunkmastaD hosted a 1 million jackpot basing event which was supposed to be hosted yesterday at midnight. At the beginning of the game, it was fair.. rushed hard. SHIELDS WERE BOUGHT (66 shields were bought altogether which equal to 330K dollars). But since the lag went extremely crazy, people started lagging and got kicked out of the game or specced. FunkmastaD tried to put that in when they did lagged, but there were too many lagouts that FunkmastaD went "Puff.. I give up" . Altogether, it was a great game + great lag. But the team with the most people ended up winning 113266 points. I dropped like 10 seconds later after my timer went out and he put me in a lag coma as well for that time. FunkmastaD Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 These events are fun to do, but I need to restrict these to 1 a day, and only hosted when there are teams of 10v10.Its clear that you can't make everyone happy at the same time but I'm trying to give some fun to you guys If you have a problem with the teams that are created then you should talk to the person who picked them (your team captains).Hopefully this topic stays open longer than the other 2 lol so Kissmint keep all of your posts on this subject in this post ok. All that's left is finding out how said person earned the job of 24-hour news caster, and why I don't see the news in a 24 hour period, but rather around 2:30-3:00.
