Guest Viirus Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 my monitor can display up to 1152 by 864 x 8 but Continuum won't display this resolution for most of the time. Sometime it does display this resolution but when i restart my computer, it goes back to the default resolution of 1024 by 768 x 8. Has anyone encountered this same problem before? Yupa Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 make sure none of your profiles specify different resolutions just changing profiles may be changing your resolution choices, if so Quote

Guest Guest Posted January 28, 2005 Report Posted January 28, 2005 I use a 2400x2240 Resolution and Have a NEC Multisync 95 Monitor (19") and I see you before I even hit your radar Quote
»Maverick Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 viirus, you should really check if your monitor CAN display that resolution. The resolution gets set back because either your monitor doesn't support the resolution or you have selected the wrong type of monitor. For the last; Right click on your desktop and click on 'Properties'. Click on the 'Settings' tab and then check what kind of display / monitor it says it has. Check this name with the exact name that is located somewhere on your monitor - especially serial number and such.If this doesn't match (or you have 'Plug and Play Monitor'), go to the site of the manufacturer of your monitor and get the good drivers for your monitor. Let me know the outcome Quote
»SOS Posted January 30, 2005 Report Posted January 30, 2005 I have seen the appear-and-dissappear problem a few times in the past as well but I have no idea what causes it but I am fairly certain that the drivers are to blame. Try reinstalling them and uninstalling them and newer drivers and older drivers. Quote
