Resolution Problem

my monitor can display up to 1152 by 864 x 8 but Continuum won't display this resolution for most of the time. Sometime it does display this resolution but when i restart my computer, it goes back to the default resolution of 1024 by 768 x 8.

Has anyone encountered this same problem before?

Please help in anyway you can but don't give me -*BAD WORD*- answer such as, "go buy a new computer" etc...

also

My zone does not limit resolution.

Here is my computer specs:

digiview monitor

Intel Celeron 667mhz

intel® 82810E

192MB

15GB HD

I Thank you in advance

some zones have a set res. the higher your res the more distorted the map will look.

viirus, you should really check if your monitor CAN display that resolution. The resolution gets set back because either your monitor doesn't support the resolution or you have selected the wrong type of monitor.

For the last; Right click on your desktop and click on 'Properties'. Click on the 'Settings' tab and then check what kind of display / monitor it says it has. Check this name with the exact name that is located somewhere on your monitor - especially serial number and such.

If this doesn't match (or you have 'Plug and Play Monitor'), go to the site of the manufacturer of your monitor and get the good drivers for your monitor.

Let me know the outcome

I have seen the appear-and-dissappear problem a few times in the past as well but I have no idea what causes it but I am fairly certain that the drivers are to blame. Try reinstalling them and uninstalling them and newer drivers and older drivers.
