Sysop Restrictions

Ok this is what I need help on..........I use to know how to restrict sysop access to certain subsreans but now I have forgot how to! I know that its so simple that I will hit myself for asking but I really need to know!

do understand, though, that just because they can only use their powers in the specified arena, that does not mean they are limited to that arena - they can download (*getfile) any of your zone files and upload (*putfile) any files they wish - [for instance, they could download server.ini, change passwords, upload it and you'd be out of a job ]

you can disable the command *putfile (and *getfile if you want) in the server.ini.

 

Excerpt from a server.ini:

 

DisablePubCommands=*scorereset,*shutdown,1*prize,1*shipreset
,*where,*super,*ufo,1*thor,*flag,*points

DisablePvtCommands=*recycle,*getfile,*putfile

^^ I can still gain full sysop on that zone ^_^
