Is there any way to recover passwords, b/c my comp got ghosted and obviously my names were deleted. I forgot the pws, because i use many pws so if one is found out they wont get all names. well when trying to guess which one of my pws was for a certain name, i got msg you have tried to login using the wrong password too many times, try again in a few hours. DOH!!!!! can't they make that like 30 minutes or something?? im just trying to get my name back

often a problem. lockout is for security so all you can do is wait.

 

to get your passwords you will ned to login under a new aliad and type:

 

?lostp!@#$%^&*word

 

you will then recieve e-mail to give you your password. (provided you gave a REAL e-mail address when registering.

Ah crap better use a real email now. is there anyway to change ur email for that username.

 

do they really have to lock u out for a few hours? why cant it be only for 1 hour or 30 minutes

well the idea is to prevent people gussing passwords. Mabye a bit long but not alot can be done.

 

I suggest using a real e-mail adress with new accounts so the ?lostp!@#$%^&*word can work. You wont at all be spammed because of it (unlike alot of those sites like miniclip) the e-mail is purely to recover passwords.

 

The only other solution i can think of is having the passwords reset, zone sysops can do this but you will have to prove the accpunt is yours before it can be done.

 

Check back later, somone may be able to provide another solution for you (cant promise anything though)

no they cant, it will send the password to the e-mail address provided so only you recieve the password.

 

The only way you will lose you account is if you enter a fake e-mail that just happend to belong to somone else that plays (VERY unlikley) and that person just happend to want to use the info to steal your name. The chances of that heppening are so slim i wont go into it.
