MED EVIL Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 well i posted our new map in superships and as usuall waited for the zone to auto recycle and it did no prob i thought when i tried to enter zone after posting map (i saw 2 ppl prob bots auto connect) screen just blinks and .... nothing its like i never even opened continuum file it just shuts down i open game again and same thing happens but only when i tries to connect to super ship i could tho enter whit subspace (but then i cant play)
Yupa Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 uh...sounds like there is some conflict maybe you deleted the file listed in server.ini misc:defaultlevelfile= maybe there's a typo maybe you have some .lvz up that is bollixed when you enter with subspace, undo whatever you recently did

madhaha Posted August 31, 2003 Report Posted August 31, 2003 Ah, this looks familiar. I had a similar problem with a test zone after playing with the lag settings. In the end I deleted the whole thing and worked from scratch because it didn't resolve itself after I replaced the bits I THOUGHT were faulty with the VIE ones. Sysops and bots aren't being kicked off.... Sounds like a security measure. Continuum is getting a lot of CRC errors. Possible fouling up with LVZ/LVL? From the log it looks like the rest of continuum is working fine but the graphics aren't loading. I just hope you have a backup of everything.
