Cont. wont start up

[Master Prime]

Ok, I have already searched for posts that looked like mine, but there is no post yet about a problem similar to mine:

 

Problem:

 

When I run Continuum.exe, it progresses for 1 second but then is stops. Nothing gets opened. The computer doesn't freeze, it's just like I never tried to open it. The task manager doesn't show the .exe (like it does in all the other problem-topics).

 

My computer:

 

-WinXP Pro

-Sitecom Router (cable)

 

I tried:

 

-renaming continuum.exe to something else

-disable firewall

-re-install / install older versions

Soembody told me that it could be my AMD 64 3000+ ...

 

because continuum does not suppord 64bit architect

 

could this be the problem?

possibally, what luck have you had running other non 64bit programs?

I can play all the other games, like UT2004, Farcry, GTA Vice city...

 

but those are high budget games so its likely that the producers have done smth for the 64bit users
