I live in a poor household so we have to disconnect the internet for a long time, many months....and I'se just wanna say see you all, im gonna miss the internet : (. talion Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 TA is good for when it came out. kinda between SC and WC3. i found that its gameplay fluctuated too much for online play, kinda dooming it. cavedog kept releasing new units for it and other TA games until they folded (Rather than gaining minerals/gast at 8/scv or wahtever, you get conituous (that is, every freaking milisecond or whatever it was) 4-6 digit metal/energy changes, and lots of weapon fire data since not every shot hits automatically. lag was evil) but still better graphics than wc3 if you have the computer for it, iirc always sad to see a player quit in any zone, hope you come back to subspace someday.

VoidStalker Posted June 23, 2004 Author Report Posted June 23, 2004 I did what Delic told me to do. I was lying in the middle of my room, gaunt-looking, with muscle spasms from lack of Subspace. Then I saw it. A dusty free aol 1000 hours CD. Hooray! It's dialup, so i'll lag alot. But, 17th Parallel is dying. The shipsets get worse and worse, and the real heroes of 17th leave by the dozens. I'm not sure if I should ever come back. I think you could revive it if 17th would use old sets.
