Mr Ekted Posted August 29, 2003 Report Posted August 29, 2003 The whole system froze? Did the mouse still move? Can you bring up task manager with alt-ctrl-del?
Guest Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 the whole system froze, the mouse wouldn't move, and I couldn't bring up ctrl-alt-del
ExplodyThingy Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 What else is running? Maybe its not continuum itself?
Evil Jin Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 could it be due to little memory? and running to many things
»SOS Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 Lack of memory doesn't cause freezes (at least not mouse freezes).Does the system event log say anything at the time of the freeze? Is there any HDD activity? Is your CPU temperature normal?
Guest Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 the computer im on right now does it too. the longest ive played it without it freezing was like thirty minutes. sometimes ill only be in a zone for twenty seconds and it will freeze. i cant bring up the close program box thing or whatever either and i cant move my mouse. i dont run anything else with continuum. i dont even have a browser up or anything
