Name/Password Problems

Well, I tried logging into a name i use alot in gaming a looong time ago. I played for a while, but life intervened(pardon the spelling) and uninstalls and system rehashes happened. I come back to play, and I get that annoying password thing mentioned in the sticky post.

 

The thing is, when I realize I used the name so long ago, I got this "used wrong password too many times, wait a few hours..."

 

WHY???? I really want to play, and I can't understand why a less frustrating name system wasn't implemented, since "a few hours" is very vauge.

 

I can't use a new login or anything....ugh, how frustrating!!! I need to shoot some stuff and work off my building sexual frustrtation!!!!....errr.....sorry...anyways...

 

Is there anything I can do to to try to make a new login?

Yes, just wait about 2 or 3 hours and try to make a new name, make sure you are changing the Player name and not the "Profile" name. Remember that the names haven't been reset in 6 years, so finding a cool, available name takes some creativity.
