Guest Guest Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 As for save.exe :http://www.2-spyware.com/file-save-exe.html It`s possible
Xeterax Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Meh, if you have SpyWare on your computer, use these proggies to take em out: Ad-Awarehttp://download.com.com/3000-8022-10214379.html?tag=lst-0-1 Spy-Bot Search and Destroyhttp://download.com.com/3000-8022-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-2 I don't recommend anything else
★ Dav Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 adaware is very usefull. leavs svchost.exe well alone, of you close the wrong one the system shuts down, if you block it with a firewall it can overload your ram and make the coputer run painfully slow. Best thing to do in this situation is to attempt to reinstall continuum, if its somehow corrupted that will fix it. SSCC Desert Storm OwnerSSforum Admin

Jericho24. Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 Have you installed anything new or changed any settings since it stopped working? -
MikeTheNose Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 Download and run spybot Search and Destory. Run and remove any spyware that doesn't come from microsoft products. Directly after that run your virus scanner. Reboot and run continuum under a new name. - MikeTheNose- Subspace Central Network BanG Administrator-------------------------------------"I have never wavered in my commitments to this zone and I am certainly not doing so now."
