I have the flagradar plugin downloaded, but the do-*BAD WORD*-entation as to what it does and how is somewhat sparse to say the least...

Can someone (the author or anyone really) give me a hand setting it up or finding something better?

What I want is a simple lvz radar (I can do that bit) with different sectors that change colour based on which of the 2 freqs owns more flags in that sector... kinda like how they had the radar in the TAZ short lived rebirth (in fact, if anyone from that particular project could give me a helping hand that'd be top dollar!).

I have no problem with the LVZ stuff, but bots are beyond me and this plugin has very little useable do-*BAD WORD*-entation...

Thanks.

the Turf Radar plugin?

get MERVbot, set it up

put turfradar.dll and radar.ini into the MERVbot directory

edit radar.ini to have coords for your map

make a .lvz image set

flag:flagmode=2

flag:carryflags=0

Yeah, I got that far.

But what images do I need to make for it? and also I've set it up and used the images I think I need, but it doesn't actually do anything.

Like, at all. It's not even giving me any help commands apart from the general core ones... ?

here's an example .ini (for bot), .lvz (images) and .lvl (map)

should help you decipher things

I believe the bot supports more than 12 areas...it might have been 15 originally, but I'm not going to bother testing that to remember

Thank you. If those files were included in the original .zip I could have done this ages ago blum.gif

Now fixed it all, and the less than amazing results which are going to be tweaked (hey, just testing the bot) can be seen at NTC Santa Cruz.

They actually used to be included with it (you'll note the description of the plugin says it includes examples), but I guess catid got mixed up or decided to scrap them last time he modified the .zip.

Your zone looks good - can tell a lot of time went into it.
