It is definatley not the way to run things down there when you are peeing on prisoners and showing them in naked piles. But what about the Nick Berg incident in where an American PRISONER was brutally be-headed in revenge for what we had done to Iraqi prisoners. Do two wrongs make a right? No. This just shows the kind of people the American Military forces have to deal with in Iraq.

I would agree that we seem to involve our-selves in a lot of international affairs. But what if America just didn't give a -*BAD WORD*-? I am not saying it would be the end of the world, and I am not saying everything would be perfect: but what if? Early in the topic it was suggested that we take all the American soldeirs who abused the Iraqi prisoners to an international trial of sorts. I believe part of the reason we are involved in this entire war is to bring "evil" leaders and terrorist orginizations down and put them on trial. Being that I live in America I typically support what decisions my nation's government makes. Even though there will always be fault in these kind of decisions.

The media always portrays everything that we do as wrong and evil. How many news casts have you seen in which you see pictures of Iraqi's supporting American forces? The media will always cover the cons instead of the pros. Reports always say that we could have prevented 9-11, or not killed this family or that one. Of course, everything always looks better in hind-sight.

1) It is definatley not the way to run things down there when you are peeing on prisoners and showing them in naked piles. 1) I personally feel terrible about the nick berg thing, yes it;s horrible but that wasn't the second wrong. Americans attacked Iraq and killed many people there, a lot of them were innocents and children. Then they do these things. I bet that if the views were switched that a few americans wouldn;t midn doing a bit of beheadin.

2) Well, I find America (not all the people, but most) to be pompous on this subject. They figure that they are the best people in the world, and that if they dissapeared we'd all quail and fall down to terrorism and such, Canada has never started a war. We've been in them, but never started one. People mostly attack us BECAUSE we're at peace with british and americans!

3) I haven't seen a trial for Saddam Hussein, in fact I haven'ty heard anything about him since his capture. I don't even know if he's dead or alive!

4) I understand that people from one country would agree with most of their leaders descisions, but some things just aren't right.

5) Well then maybe people should think about Hindsight ahead of time. It is possible. It's liek the old child-hood rule, never say anythign before thinking about it. Myabe Bush shouldn't do anything before thinking, maybe these soldiers should have thought before doing these things...

For there to be true justice, there must be equal standards of accountability for both Iraqis and Americans. Do you think an Iraqi that tortured an American would get a demotion, a discharge and 12 months incarceration(sp?) in a US prison?

Would they even get a trial?
