Guest Lance Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 For the last couple of weeks, I have been having an extreme problem with Continuum. As soon as it would download a map, any map, in any zone, it will close out of Continuum totally. I have tried several things, such as deleting everything continuum off my computer, using 3.9pre1, installing and reinstalling(it will not let me uninstall either with the message of "File "C:\Program Files\Continuum\unins000.dat" does not exist. Cannot uninstall".) and deleting all of my maps. Nothing seems to work. Please help me with this. I went into a zone and got a Sysop of that zone to tell me I had an error message saying "M <security> {0} [Lance] security packet not returned" so I hope this help with trying to find a solution. Guest Lance Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Okay, let's all point and laugh. Laugh as if you are making fun of someone for @#$%ing on themselves. I thought and thought about how to fix this and I would like everyone to know how I fixed this, insane some other moron comes with this problem. The date on my clock said the year was "2150". This apparently made this happen, I guess it is a windows issue. Anyways, a odd solution for an odd problem. Thanks for your time.
Night Fox Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 Goto Control Panel, add/remove programs uninstall and then delete your continumm files and then install it again and that should do the trick
