Xeterax Posted April 24, 2004 Report Posted April 24, 2004 Hey, the tm_save plugin that 50% edited from the original tm_mer becomes extremely laggy after 25+ players. Can someone please make a plugin version that logs the prizes from a bot that is seperate from the original tm_mer? I think it should solve the problem..! Note: It stops lagging once I unload the plugin on the MERVBot. (Begs 50% to make one!)

Problem is that everytime someone dies, the bot has to PM them with all thier prizes. It would be nice if SS had a *setprize command that worked the same as the *setobj command. There was another zone that had a prize bot similar to mine and they had lag issues with the bot too. 2nd point you made was to make a bot that was seperate from the TM mer bot. I cant think of a way to do this. The bot i made works like this, if TM-mer sends a *prize #1 command to a player, the bot takes the number from the end of the command and adds it to that player's prize record. Editing the mervbot core would work, but my goal was to make a plugin do the work. Make sure your bot is running on the same comp as your server.
Xeterax Posted April 24, 2004 Author Report Posted April 24, 2004 Ahh, but it was running on the server. Testtube was hosting it. Also, the bot prizes all the players quickly after returning from death. But when you use !buy, the bot is extremely laggy. Hmm.. what to do..
