cloudy Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 I think green upgrades for ships would be nice. It would make things a little less...set ya know? A little somthing to make up for bad aim I guess. Quote
cloudy Posted April 20, 2004 Author Report Posted April 20, 2004 Oh, it would also make gaining recs possable for anyone thats not a silly spider. (btw, sorry I cant find a edit button >.<) Quote
Delic Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 yeah sure why not.. pub is one big mess already, wouldn't notice if they messed up some more Quote
talion Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 this is a joke, right? greening is the WORST PART about ANY subspace zone. ive found that, in general, as "required" greening (that is, to get to the max guns/bombs/toys you can green) goes up, the slower the pace becomes of the zone because the focus comes off of getting kills and turns more into not dying and "having to green all over again" anyways, whatever you do, just don't change wb, that is the easiest ship in subspace compared to other ships in the zone lol. brilliant way to blow off some shteam. Yupa Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 greening is fine in zones with no specific goal (Chaos, etc)most zones have goals, though Quote
Aileron Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 There should be a zone somewhere where half of the ships can be upgraded by greens, and the other half not upgradable at some average stats. Quote
Jumbone Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 With the spider (#3) there is required greening, once you use up your bursts. This is covered by team greens when you have a large team. When playing with a small team or your bounty hits 100 you have to go hunt for bursts to be effective with the spider. Quote
GhettoSmurf Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 hmmm, i've never had a problem getting bursts...it's finding ports that's the problem. i can usually get a shield or two before a single port...i think that's the only reason i actually green, rather than suiciding or shipchanging. there's nothing better than a shielded spider ripping apart a double lev turret that has jav/wb support. Cokey Flo Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 With the spider (#3) there is required greening, once you use up your bursts.Or you could be like kent (if you don't mind a bad rec) and suicide to get your specials back Quote
