heres a shot of proggie i use alot for ss realted doings. basicaly ya point it a folder and pick how many rows and it will slap a whole bunch of individual bmp frames together into one large one. its pretty fast. and is no frills. itll do shipsets up real nice and fast from the raw frames smile.gif quite possibly a tad buggy. but if you feed it the right images it works nice smile.gif barfs on larger stuff 6000+ dunno why in no super programer. smile.gif

as you navigate the folders it shows a sample of the first frame in the folder.

and itll let you revers the order. blum.gif

it has one purpose really.

not sure what you ppl use, any interest?

Looks interesting, except I could never leave PaintShop Pro:)

Agreed, upload it.

psp will !@#$%^&*emble frames? i couldnt figure out how. enlighten me.

ps. ill have it up'd by like 3pm today at the latest. just gonna do smor error trapping, and testing it out.

basicaly, i only programmed it out of need. and would stop once it worked for what i needed it to. been many others. i have alot that do only 36x36 images, but are more talored to ss. this one tho, will work with all sizes of images. ive also got in the works a shipset builder type thing, that lets you have like as many ship sets as you want in diff folders, then you can choose from all those ship sets and with a click or two, make a whole new set real quick. basically that was made out of need to, but evolved into something pretty functional like this.

theres a link to it in my sig its (70k). happy tiling. ive tested it on 95/98/xp.

lemme know if some other os's need more files. or if ya have issues with it.

never again let there be a ship set tiled by hand. amen hallelujah.

oh ya, just bmp support for now, ill work on adding jpg and gif.

all its meant to do is take individual bmps and combine them into one. it does nothing else. as i said smile.gif

when you render a ship for "real" in 3d like vie ships, the programs output the animation in a series of frames. 440 for ONE ship. with rolls. that program combines the frames into the proper format for ss.

but you dont have to use it for just that.

even if i could, which i cant, i wouldnt make any sort of 2d thing for making ships(the actual images)....yech. blum.gif
