i know suicide was removed a long time before i started ss but it may be good to add:

 

Misc Suicide 1/0

 

to the settings for cirtain games.

 

E.g in an army fight type zone peole may want boms fired into a wall from too close to kill or some games may be made harder with it.

Ship suicide is a great idea there Dav, I agree.

 

Maybe have it so when you opt for ship suicide, you blow up and

some shrapnel flys out as you explode.

"If I'm going down, everyone is going down...think"

 

Though I think ship suicide might be fun in non-serious zones.

for things attemting to mahe a real siuation though. Your a soldur trowing a drade at w wall near you, it will kill you!

 

adds play to some zones where prox saftey id worth wile and you havr to be more carefull with bombs to sucseed.

 

It was taken out cus it reduced play in zones so it would have to be optional.

I dunno, this is usually done with bursts today.

 

Having a suicide option may be a good idea. In zones where suicide bursting is prevelant, "l33t" players build their recs by killing the suiciders.

I think the suicide he's referring to is the ability to kill yourself with a closebomb, rather than a self-destruct button. The closebomb suicide would be interesting for certain styles of arenas.

Aaah, the bumpage. Might as well add friendly fire and make bombs explode by themselves after a certain amount of time. Or better yet if you want infantry, play infantry.

i mean if you are too close to a wall when your bomb hits it you kill yourself:

Could also apply to closebombing which would make prox saftey a more usefull feature.

Nah that sucks, I don' t want to die when I closebomb...(it sucks when you don't have x-radar and a cloaker is in front of you)

And I love it, when I have to dodge the enemie's bullets when I closebomb someone... and if suiciding was included to ss, I wouldn't be able to dodge like this anymore :rolleyes:

when i origionally poseted i said its a good idea for some game types where it will add to the realism of the theme or make the arena more difficault to play.

 

Im sure alot of zones wouldnt use this in their public arenas if it was added as a option.

It'd be cool if it were like a key... and when you hit it, You die, and use X amount of bursts (Doesn't matter if you have any)
