Bargeld Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 It's not a hard thing to learn, simply intimidating. The best way to figure out your router is to read the manual. The next best way is to do a search on yahoo/google for that brand/model and see what pops up, usually you will stumble onto something helpful. Quote
Dav Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 thats true, they are difficault to mess up as the settings you do are simple, if you ever tried to write a config for a cisco router you would know just how simple home routers are. Quote

plant. Posted April 13, 2004 Author Report Posted April 13, 2004 ADSL usually connects the same way as cable. The RJ12 cable connects to a modem or similer device that transfers the data to a NIC card with an RJ45 jack; which both the wireless and cable routers should have. If that's too technical then just read this: Why do you have more than 1 router?sorry, was inactive here. I've got 2 routers. One ADSL Router for the internet, then another wireless router so every computer on the network has acces to the internet. Quote
