Guest the_second_a2000zelda Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I wanted to play Alpha. So, I make sure that Alpha is added to my zone list (so it is in bold), and then I download it. I try to play it, and it says: "There is a new version with some fixes. You need this version to play. Download it now?"(((or something like that). I say yes. Internet Explorer comes up, with a list of mirror downloads I can install. I INSTALLED EVERY SINGLE ONE, 0.38 AND 0.39! So what happens when I click? "There is a new version with some fixes. You need this version to play. Download it now?" I decided to go to the Alpha main site. I saw there was a new download for graphics in the forum. I went to the download section, and it said do go to files.com. I did. THere were a whole bunch of downloads, but when I tried to download one. it said "You do not have access to those files." Just to make sure the 0.39 was installed, I searched the computer and found it under do-*BAD WORD*-ents. I clicked on the file, and a popup came, saying " This copy of Internet explore is {my Dad's name, but I'm not tellin' you that! }." This always happens in my computer right before the Internet Explorer loads up. But this time, the popup came and went... and nothing happened! Should I reboot the computer? I don't want to; it'll take 1/2 an hour to do it, this computer stinks so much (it's an NT).
