Guide to bots in pub

Due to the 2 new bots plus a few players who wants to figure out how to use bots, I present to you a guide to the bots in pub :

 

 

Score-bot :

 

Consists of the following plugins :

 

 

No-attach plugin

 

Purpose :

To keep unwanted players from attaching to you.

f.ex a newbie keeps attaching to you non-stop while you are cloaking.. perhaps a player is har!@#$%^&*ing you by staying attached to you when you have the ball, etc.

All you have to do is to add that player to your no-attach list and the problem is solved

 

Commands :

!help noattach - Displays commands + explanation for this plugin

!noattach -l : Prints out your noattach list

!noattach -b=[on/off] : Turn ON or OFF the blocking of ALL attaches

!noattach -a [PlayerName] : Add a player to your noattach list

!noattach -r [PlayerName] : Remove a player from your noattach list

!noattach -c : Clears your noattach profile

 

Examples :

 

!noattach -b=on -> Enables blocking ALL players, only useful if you want to go solo

!noattach -b=off -> Turns above feature off

!noattach -a IAmABigBadNewbie -> IAmABigBadNewbie can no longer attach to your ship

!noattach -r IAmABigBadNewbie -> IAmABigBadNewbie can once again attach to your ship

!noattach -c -> All players which you have specified with the !noattach -a command can now attach. Does not affect the !noattach -b command

 

 

Announce plugin

Purpose : Handles announcements, controls text in center

 

Commands :

!top100 -> Display the top players of the current week, and your current ranking.

 

 

Soccer plugin

Purpose : Controls the soccer game, dumps soccer stats at the end of each game.

 

 

Commands :

!score -> Displays the current soccer game score

!stats -> Displays your current statistics this soccer round

!symbols -> Displays what the symbols used in !stats mean

 

Staff plugin

!staff -> Displays zone staff

 

Vote plugin

Purpose : Allows you to vote on a topic.

 

!voteget -> Display what`s the current vote and the options you can vote on.

!vote -> vote on option defined by the options listed in !voteget

 

 

Message Bot

 

Purpose : Extends the ?message feature

 

Commands : too many to be listed here, just send !help to it in private instead of in public chat

Note : This bot is currently in beta, use at own risk.

 

 

How to use !help

 

do !help in public chat or in private to a bot, and you will get a list of commands you can do.

do !help command in public chat or in private to a bot, and it will list HOW to use that command.

Example :

ScoreBot> !staff (display zone staff)

ScoreBot> VOTEBOT: !about !vote !voteget

ScoreBot> SCOREBOT: !about

ScoreBot> !score (returns current score of current ball game)
