Guest Vorf Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 Alright, I'm having problems with text displaying in Continuum. It looks like there are letters on top of each other and various texts are fused together as shown in this screenshot. http://www.crystalblast.net/VernalDragon/FuggeredText.gifAny help is greatly appreciated. Information that may or may not help you: I am running Windows NT SP 4.0 with Direct X 3.0. My video card was manufactured by ATI, and I'm pretty sure I have the latest drivers available; ATI Technologies Inc. 3D RAGE PRO TURBO. Thanks in advance for any help.

Guest Guest Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Except Windows NT only supports up to 3.0. The site says Continuum is compatible with Windows NT...so there's no reason I should be having dx issues.
Mr Ekted Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Take a look at your font file in a bitmap editor. Looks like you are using tallfont.bm2. See if it's corrupted. http://home.maine.rr.com/user/ekted/pics/ssgc.jpg http://www.againsttcpa.com/images/AgainstTCPA-Log01Small.gif
Guest Vorf Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Finally fixed it. For some reason, turning on "software emulation" under Advanced Options cleared it all up.
Bargeld Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 then the problem is related to your video card (hardware) either: 1) card is broken2) drivers suck (get new, maybe older drivers if you are using the most current ones)3) DirectX DirectX DirectX Sysop - SSCX Alpha West SVS
Guest Vorf Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 *Shrug*. It's working fine with software emulation with no noticable decrease in speed or quality. I think I'll leave it at that.
