Extreme Games

When I get into playing Extreme Games, after a while the Screen Freezes up on me?. When this happens I have to shut down my computer and re-boot it up! And then go back into the game, and after a while it freezes up again. Now this NEVER Happened to me when I first started to use Continuum!, (Old Sub-Space Gamer) this is a new thing (for me) when playing this game. I am NOT a Computer person! so what ever advise you give me, PLEASE make it in SIMPLE terms!. I have a Pent 3 Processor, and I am using Windows 98. And I think there is a 3DFX card or something with VOODOO in the name?. Now, Is there something else that I have to down load or is there a piece of equiptment that I need to purchas to stop the Screen from Freezing?. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! VIOLA!!!. I was looking under other peoples problems and there was a different, however Simular problem. A Gamer by the Name of BARGELD Came up with the answer!!! Here it is.... Remove the shortcut that is presently on the desktop, And then go to the games folder and right click on CONTINUUM and create a NEW SHORTCUT, and move IT to your desktop!!!. I have NO idea what it eliminated (problem wise) or how it works but so far I have had NO PROBLEMS!! Good Luck! And Thanks to BARGELD for the Answer!

how many proggys do you run at any ome time? win98 is not the best at mul!@#$%^&*asking.

 

Win 98 is about as stable as a pisshead on a unicycle.

Try playing in Windowed mode if Continuum is the only thing that freezes.

Voodoo cards have known issues with Continuum. Try replacing/updating drivers.
